Tap Electric

Tap Electric is a charging network offering Destination charging. As of the end of March 2026 Tap Electric had a total of 1,621 EV chargers across the UK.

Tap Electric provides the 'bank end' software to its partners to manage changing across different EV charger hardware. You can find Tap Electric-managed points at Airbnb properties, small hospitality venues, schools, and public sector bodies, such as East Lothian Council, where owners can use the Tap Electric's flexible tariffs to offer discounted rates to guests or staff.

Where can you find Tap Electric EV chargers?

Tap Electric chargers are available nationwide and there are currently 1,621 across 420 locations which can all be found in the Zapmap app or on the Zapmap desktop map.  
Simply use the Network filter on the app to pinpoint the chargers, there you'll also find the address, a detailed break down of the Tap Electric chargers at each location, their live status (where available), charge point speeds, costs to charge, and star ratings, photos and feedback from other Zapmap users.
