Shell Recharge
Shell Recharge is a charging network offering En-route charging. As of the end of March 2026 Shell Recharge had a total of 1,367 EV chargers across the UK.
As the UK’s first EV charging network launched by an established oil company, Shell Recharge provides a high-powered solution for drivers needing a rapid "top-up" rather than long-stay destination charging. Focused on prime en-route locations, the network consists primarily of Rapid (50kW) and Ultra-rapid (150kW–300kW) chargers strategically installed across Shell forecourts and partner sites such as Waitrose and Aldi. The network operates on a flexible pay-as-you-go basis with no subscription required.
Where can you find Shell Recharge EV chargers?
Shell Recharge chargers are available nationwide and there are currently 1,367 across 263 locations which can all be found in the Zapmap app or on the Zapmap desktop map.
Simply use the Network filter on the app to pinpoint the chargers, there you'll also find the address, a detailed break down of the Shell Recharge chargers at each location, their live status (where available), charge point speeds, costs to charge, and star ratings, photos and feedback from other Zapmap users.
