Duracell E-Charge has officially launched its first UK charging location at Bath Terrace Car Park in the heart of Cheltenham. The new site brings ultra-rapid EV charging to one of the region’s busiest town centres, giving drivers fast, reliable charging with a trusted household name behind it.

The Bath Terrace site features ten ultra-rapid (300 kW) charging bays, getting drivers to 80%+  power in less 30 minutes. That makes it ideal for a quick stop while grabbing a coffee, walking  the dog, or running errands .

The location has been designed with convenience in mind. Bath Terrace sits moments from  Sandford Park and Cheltenham Town FC, and just a short walk from The Brewery Quarter. It’s  surrounded by local shops, cafés, pubs, and everyday essentials, which means drivers can make the most of their time while charging.

“We’re bringing reliable, ultra-rapid charging into busy urban spaces where drivers actually live  their lives,” said Mark Bloxham, Managing Director.

“Cheltenham is the perfect starting point.  It shows how Duracell E-Charge sites will combine speed, reliability, and convenience with a  brand people already trust.”

This launch marks the first step in Duracell E-Charge’s wider rollout, with more sites planned for 2026. The new Duracell E-Charge charge points can be found on the Zapmap app by using the network filter.
