Fastned has launched its latest Ultra-rapid hub in the heart of Hemel Hempstead, at Jarman Way.
The site features eight Ultra-rapid (400kW) CCS EV chargers and two Rapid (50kW) chargers with CHAdeMO connectors. Sheltered by Fastned’s signature yellow canopy and designed with accessibility in mind, the site has extra-wide charging bays, suspended charging cables, lighting and CCTV coverage.
To celebrate the official opening, Fastned Hemel Hempstead will offer a week of free charging, from Friday 15 to Sunday 22 May 2026.

The Fastned charging network can be accessed directly in the Zapmap app, where users can easily find and pay for EV charging, as well as view the live status and availability of Fastned chargers at any time.
