A new map showcasing Scottish Agritourism members from Shetland to the Scottish Borders is available now through Scottish Agritourism member businesses with more to be distributed in the coming weeks.

The Scottish Agritourism map is a showcase of Scotland’s best farms, crofts and estates where consumers can visit to buy food and drink, to spend the day or to stay on holiday. The 254 farm businesses on the map offer a variety of tourism and leisure activities ranging from children’s play to luxury lodges, dog parks to hands on farming experiences.

The new edition of the Scottish Agritourism map was supported by Zapmap to help EV drivers to find and pay for charging wherever they go.

Laura Paterson, Scottish Agritourism Manager, said:

“We are delighted to launch our new map as we celebrate the end of a very successful 12 months for Scottish Agritourism month. This map is designed to help people plan days out and holidays across Scotland, prompting ideas for multiple destinations and driving-up both farm retail and tourism spend in rural Scotland. It’s also a great visual of the growth, development and diversity of Scotland’s agritourism and farm retail and it highlights just how many wonderful businesses we have in the Scottish Agritourism network. We look forward to distributing the map throughout Scotland with the help of our Scottish Agritourism members in the next few weeks.”

This version of the map will also be available for delegates at June’s Global Agritourism Conference, offering a visual guide to the breadth and diversity of Scotland’s agritourism and Farm Retail businesses, before it is updated with new members for next spring.
