TotalEnergies has begun delivery of its latest Rapid and Ultra-rapid EV charging expansion in partnership with Transport for London (TfL), with the first five sites now live across the capital.
The rollout will expand TotalEnergies' high-power charging network with new 50kW rapid and 150kW Ultra-rapid charge points at strategic London locations, making it easier for drivers to access fast, convenient charging close to key routes and urban destinations.
The first sites went live in August 2026, at Rectory Road (Hackney), South Lambeth Road, Kennington Park Road, Cavendish Road and Streatham High Road (Lambeth). These locations mark the beginning of a wider rollout, with additional sites across Islington, Lewisham and other London boroughs scheduled to go live in the coming months. As part of the launch, all drivers can benefit from introductory pricing starting from just 54p/kWh at Rapid (50kW) charge points and 59p/kWh at Ultra-rapid (150kW) charge points.
You can find all of TotalEnergies' EV chargers by using the Zapmap app. There you will also find live pricing, availability and status information, and be able to start and pay for your charging sessions directly. TotalEnergies chargers are also compatible with the Zapmap charging card, meaning you can start a charging session with just a tap of the card on the charge point's RFID card reader.
Designed with high-mileage drivers in mind, the new charge points can charge EVs in as little as 30 minutes and are located on routes frequently used by taxi drivers, private hire drivers, and other commercial users. The expansion will also improve access to Rapid charging for residents, commuters and visitors travelling across London.
The latest TfL rollout builds on TotalEnergies' growing EV charging network in London, with more than 3,200 EV chargers across the capital. The investment further strengthens TotalEnergies' position as one of London's leading charging providers, supporting the increasing demand for reliable and accessible public charging infrastructure.
