RAW Charging (“RAW”) has announced the opening of Yorkshire’s largest high-powered public EV charging hub at Cardigan Fields, Leeds.
The Cardigan Fields installation is part of RAW Charging’s ongoing partnership with Landsec, one of the UK’s largest real estate investment trusts, which is investing £24.5 million to roll out EV charging infrastructure across premier retail and leisure destinations nationwide.
This state-of-the-art facility features 32 bays in total, comprising 14 AC Standard-Plus chargers, 6 DC Rapid chargers, and 12 Ultra-Rapid chargers, all accessible to the public 24/7.
Cardigan Fields attracts visitors from all over Yorkshire with 466,000 people living within a 3 minute site of the hub. Cardigan Fields is home to a variety of activity, dining and lifestyle brands, from well-known national brands to local businesses and independents. Cardigan Fields’ line-up includes a cinema, bowling alley, gym, restaurants and eateries including Vue cinema, Hollywood Bowl and Nando’s.

RAW’s chargers at Cardigan Fields are designed for ease of use, with contactless payment and 24/7 support. Access can be made via the Zapmap app, where 24/7 live status is shared, and users can for their charge directly within the app too.
