RAW Charging (“RAW”) has announced the activation of a new ultra-rapid EV charging hub at Leamington Shopping Park. This launch marks another milestone in RAW’s mission to connect amazing places and deliver high-speed, reliable EV charging at the UK’s most popular destinations.
RAW Charging’s new hub at Leamington Spa is designed to meet the needs of today’s EV drivers, providing both ultra-rapid and destination charging in convenient, high-traffic locations. At Leamington Spa, the 17-bay hub is the largest in the area, supporting both local residents and visitors. With six AC Standard-Plus and 11 Ultra-Rapid DC EV chargers, visitors can easily top up while shopping, dining or enjoying on-site amenities such as Subway, Greggs, TK Maxx, JD, M&S, Clarks, New Look, The Range, PureGym, and Aldi.
With ultra-rapid 150kW bays, drivers can top up their batteries in minutes, not hours, making sustainable travel an easy choice. Furthermore, customers can charge for free following the opening of the hub from the 20th of April to the 26th of April by signing up to RAW Rewards.
Access to the RAW Charging network is available via the Zapmap app, where live status and availability information is available 24 hours a day, and payments can be made directly in-app. RAW EV charge points are also compatible with the Zapmap Charging Card, bringing the extra convenience of paying with just a tap.
